a letter to God

Dear God, 

Guide me to Your way.

Give me strength to resist anger, envy, depression, fear, guilt, regret, bitterness, hopeless and loneliness.

Show me Your light so I can clearly recognize a good from bad, a true from false, an original from fake.

Rescue me whenever my spirit is overwhelmed within me, my attitude againts You or whenever my logic start to arguing and doubting the path You’ve chose to me. At the time i tempted to give up on those, i know that You will never give up to put Your head out of me and lift my spirit up.

Forgive me for all those wrongfully thought of You, unacceptable behaviors and misinterpreted precepts which lead me to made a wrong turn in life. Forgive me for all those selfish way asking You to give me a ‘better life’.. Why should ask when i surely know that You only provide the best for Your creatures? 

I refuse to let myself be brought down by negative emotions such as these. I refuse to end up in bitter disappointment in these short time of life.

I believe that there are no limits on Your authority, no boundaries that can restrict the exercise of Your power. The mountains can be removed, that obstacles can be overcome, that battles can be fought and won through complete reliance on You.

A little bit of here and there.

There  are many things that you should do before you get married and having your  kids.  One  for sure is: traveling with all of your craziest friends! I'm  not  going  to say that marriage people could not do it, but just like what  I've  experienced  so  far,  they  prefer to travel with their couple instead of with you (friends).

Well,  today  is one month left before the end of the year. The 2011 will be end up soon while the 2012 will be near coming!

Question:  How  many  cities  that  you've visited for vacation during this year?

Let's see mine.

Excluded  Lampung (my hometown); Bandung (my second hometown, since I spent four  years  of my life living there) and other cities visited for business trip, thus I only had four vacations during this year.

1.    Bali (27 - 29 May 2011)
It  was  a free vacation, conducted by my company, known as "Outing". It  is  a  yearly agenda with selected destination is based on participation vote  and  the  budget  we  have  (of  course). We had an extremely exhausted-challenged-unforgettable of 3 hours biking for 15 km tour!! Poor my ass..

2.    Makassar (2 - 5 Jun 2011)
It  was  just  an unplanned vacation of this year. Three days before the departure date, a friend of mine called me in the middle of utter boring routine weekdays. "Liburan ke Makassar yukkk?!" she excitedly asked.

She explained that her friend (and friends of her friend, it all were guys) invited her for joining to the Makassar trip for the next long weekend. Looking back to the last few stressfully working weeks that I've  had without any relaxing activity planned  for  the near long weekend, thus I simply said 'yes' for joining to that trip. Moreover, I won't  refuse the chance to touch down my feet on the new places and shake my hand for the new peoples :)

3.    Singapore (11 - 13 Nov 2011)
What  would be happened when two young-ladies having a three days off at Singapore? The answer should be: waste some money! :D

4.    Anyer (25 - 27 Nov 2011)
Information Media reunion at Anyer!! Yes, we're still exist! we're big and happy family!!!

.a prayer.

it's been months since my last post. my life is in crisis now, it's just overwhelming that life is full of unexpected things happened lately. i don't know where is this sh*t eventually will be end up to.. one for sure, it will change the rest of my life. I'm too scared to guess and still denying the facts. Just wait and see, nobody knows, huh?! and of course i'll never stop to pray..

and just like an anonymous said "never pray for an easy life but pray for a strongest feet"

This or That?!

The word is: Trade-off

According to Wikipedia, A trade-off (or tradeoff) is a situation that involves losing one quality or aspect of something in return for gaining another quality or aspect. It implies a decision to be made with full comprehension of both the upside and downside of a particular choice.

As the earth is still turning around on its axle and the sun is still shining above your head, thus everyday everywhere and everytime there always gonna be many choices crossing in front your eyes, ready to be choosed. Sometimes, the final choices you've made was not based on your solely discretion. Your families, your friends, your environment, etc. had just put their opinion and influenced you.

You may have to choose between accepting the first job offered to you and continuing your study. You may have to choose for living alone at the town over staying at your hometown. You may have to choose whether fighting for the one that you love the most or giving up for your parent's candidate(s). You may have to choose between a prestigious-well paid-stressfully job and a so so- lower paid-controllable job.

Those.. are a trade-off, it's simply happens when you're facing the two and/or more choices with its all pluses and minuses inside them. In fact, the life that you live today is the outcome of the choices that you've made before. And the life that you will be living at in the near future will be exactly the reflection of the choices that you make today. So be wise, cause your life is in your hand.
